Independent Laboratory Testing — NABL-Accredited Lab
DAKON plastic food containers have been independently tested at a NABL-accredited laboratory (Accreditation No. TC-5843) for overall migration, phthalate content, heavy metal migration and colour migration.
All tested parameters returned results well within permitted limits. Overall migration was measured to IS 9845:1998 across five food simulants and colour migration to IS 9833:2018. Sample tested July–August 2026.
Independent Laboratory Test Results
DAKON plastic food containers were submitted to a NABL-accredited testing laboratory (Accreditation No. TC-5843) and tested between 18 and 28 July 2026.
Overall migration was measured across five food simulants. The highest reading was 0.33 mg/dm² against a permitted ceiling of 10.0 mg/dm² — roughly 3% of the limit. Phthalate and heavy metal migration were below the limit of quantification in every case.

Results relate only to the item tested. Permitted limits are those applicable to food-contact plastic packaging in India. “Below limit of quantification” means the substance was not detectable at the laboratory’s measurable threshold.
