Plastic Food Bucket
Plastic food buckets with lids from the DAKON range are the large-capacity end of Alfa Foil’s plastic packaging line. They’re made in food-grade polypropylene (PP) at our Raipur, Chhattisgarh plant, in three sizes: 2500 ml, 3200 ml and 4500 ml. Caterers, biryani outlets, sweet shops and food manufacturers use these buckets when a normal container is too small, whether for party orders, family packs or bulk dispatch from a central kitchen. In the trade they are often simply called biryani buckets, the standard pack for bucket biryani, family-party orders and catering.
Which bucket size do you need?
| Size | Typical load | Common orders |
|---|---|---|
| 2500 ml | Biryani or pulao for a family of about four to five, dal or gravy for a small party | Family packs, weekend takeaway |
| 3200 ml | Party-size biryani, curry for roughly 8–10 servings, rasgulla or gulab jamun in syrup | Party orders, sweet shops |
| 4500 ml | Bulk rice, dal makhani, rajma or chole for events and institutional meals | Weddings, corporate and community catering |
Built for heavy, hot and liquid food
A bucket carries more weight than any other container in a delivery bag, so strength matters more than looks. DAKON buckets have strong side walls, a stable base and a lid that seals the full rim, so gravies and syrups stay inside when the bucket is carried, stacked or tilted. The round shape spreads heat evenly and stacks neatly in a vehicle or cold room. The buckets are reusable too, so customers can keep them for storage at home long after the meal.
